Some examples of simple aromatic preparations which can be made at home
Simple does not mean without a certain number of precautions ! | In the examples below, you will find suggestions of Essential Oils which are perfectly adapted to the preparations which can be made at home; however, feel free to use your creative imagination.
By way of a simple precaution, always refer to the DIRECTIONS FOR USE and in particular avoid skin-caustic Essential Oils. |
Creams and moisturing milks with essential oils | Modelling oil or lotion or cream : well-being
Mix 3 to 4% of synergized Essential oils (creating an Essential Oils synergy means choosing 2 or 3 oils which have complementary effects to: stabilize, tone up, stimulate, relax, calm / soothe),
which have been chosen for their effects and fragrances (among the very pleasant fragrances : Rosewood, lime, geranium, jasmine, lavender, mandarin, neroli, grapefruit, petit grain (bitter orange), rosemary, rose, sandalwood, vetiver, and ylang-ylang.
For an oil : in one or two base vegetable oils (jojoba, macadamia, sunflower, grape pip, hazelnut)
For a moisturing milk : in EMULSAN
For a cream : in a cream such as CETALINE or CERAT
Scented oil or milk : pleasure
Mix 2 to 4% of Essential Oils which have been chosen for their fragrances in a vegetable oil base which is neutral, fluid and without any fragrance (jojoba, macadamia, grape pip) or even in the fluid EMULSAN lotion.

Bath products with essential oils | For a personalized, non foaming preparation which can be used in baths with jet or hydro massage features, the neutral Bath Base allows you to mix up to 10 % of essential oils and (or) plant extracts (for example Rockweed or Kelp seaweed extracts). For further information, refer to the directions for use of the NEUTRAL BASE BATH.
How to do it :
Add 20 to 25 drops of Essential Oils which have been chosen for their effect and fragrances in the equivalent of 1 to 2 bottle tops of bath base.
Mix together and pour into the bath water once it has been run.
Avoid using irritating or skin-caustic Essential Oils (refer to the precautions of use).
Tip : With the Essential Oils, you can add : milk, oat powder, organic honey, cider vinegar, seaweed extracts, to improve the efficiency of your bath
Among well suited Essential Oils for bath : basil, rosewood, blue camomile, lemon, cypress, citriodora and radiata eucalyptus, lavender, mandarin, myrtus, orange, lemongrass, grapefruit, petit grain (bitter orange), pine, rosmary.

Hair tratments with essential oils | |
Dry strands of hair :
Add 1% of ylang, sandalwood or palmarosa, in an oil of jojoba, avocado, and corn seed ... Coat all of the stands of hair, leave on for half an hour, and then shampoo your hair.
Shampooing :
Mix 5 to 7 drops of adapted Essential Oils in a 1/4 cup of mild, neutral shampoo.

Dry hair: Geranium, lemon balm, sandalwood, ylang...
Greasy hair: Cedar, lemon, eucalyptus, juniper, grapefruit, rosemary, tea tree....
Dandruff: Lavender, rosemary, tea tree, linalool thyme ....
Toning up products: Bay, cedar, cypress, orange, rosemary, clary sage, linalol thyme ...
Irritations: Blue camomile, lavender, field mint...
Tip: Finish your shampoo off with a floral water lotion coupled with a little bit of cider vinegar: makes the hair shine and maintains the pH level of the scalp.

Face-Neck oil made with essential oils | Mix 1 to 2 % of the ESSENTIAL OIL which has been chosen according to the skin type among one or several precious VEGETABLE OILS: musk rose, borage, jojoba, apricot kernel, wheat germ, hazelnut, avocado ...
Dry skin : Carrot seed, myrrh, palmarosa, sandalwood, ylang ...
Greasy skin : Lemon, cypress, eucalyptus, juniper, lavender, lemongrass, tea tree ...
Irritated skin / redness : Blue camomile, geranium, everlasting, lavender, bitter orange ...
Devitalized skin / wrinkles : Rosewood, carrot seed, labdanum, frankincense, geranium, rosemary, rose, sandalwood, clary sage ...
Normal skin : Rosewood, lavender, orange, palmarosa ... |
A facial sauna and a face mask made with essential oils | Clay face pack
Mix two tablespoons of green clay (greasy skin) or white clay (dry skin) with a tablespoon of floral water and a teaspoon of VEGETABLE OIL in which you have diluted 5 to 7 drops of ESSENTIAL OILS.
Mix together to make a uniform face pack and apply to the face which has been cleansed beforehand avoiding the outline of the eyes. Leave to dry for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and with a FLORAL WATER (cornflower, rose, camomile...).
Facial sauna
This is ideal to purify the skin pores. Place 5 drops of the appropriate ESSENTIAL OIL in a litre of boiling water. Place your face, which has been cleansed beforehand, above the steam for 5 minutes with your head covered by a towel. Finish the face care treatment by a face pack, followed by a toning lotion and a facial cream or oil. The facial sauna should not be used on blotchy skin. |
